During a phone intervention on Jawhara FM on Monday, the President of the regional union in Nabeul explained that pesticides were initially used to combat the spread of the citrus fly, before switching to a biological method based on aerial pesticide spraying. However, the company in charge of implementing this method has not completed its mission, resulting in a loss of control over the citrus fly, which could potentially destroy the harvest.
