Tunisian Navigation Company (CTN) Announces Postponement of Carthage Ship Voyages
The Tunisian Navigation Company (CTN) announced on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, the postponement of the Carthage ship's voyages between Tunis and Genoa, initially scheduled from September 11 to 13, 2025.
Reason for Postponement
The ship underwent a periodic inspection at the port of Genoa as part of the Paris Memorandum on ship control. These regular checks, applied in all European ports, aim to verify the compliance of ships with international conventions issued by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and ratified by Tunisia.
Technical Verifications
The CTN specified that this verification operation required prolonged technical tests and interventions, resulting in the postponement of the initially scheduled departure on Wednesday at 13:00.
Apology and Assurance
The company apologizes for this unforeseen delay and assures that the safety and comfort of passengers remain its priority. It invites travelers to reprogram their trips to Marseille and Genoa on board the Tanit and Carthage ships, without additional fees, subject to availability.

For any additional information, passengers can contact the CTN at the following numbers: 82102021 and 71346061.
