Portuguese Company BA Glass to Invest in Tunisia
The Portuguese company BA Glass, specializing in the manufacture of glass products, has announced its intention to invest in Tunisia. This announcement was made during a meeting between Samir Abdelhafidh, Minister of Economy and Planning, and Tiego Morira Da Silva, General Manager of BA Glass, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
Overview of BA Glass' Activities and Investment Plans
During the meeting, Mr. Da Silva presented an overview of the company's activities, its subsidiaries in several countries, as well as its future development and investment projects. He specified that Tunisia was chosen as a new destination due to its strategic geographical location, the availability of qualified skills, and adapted human resources, in line with the company's objectives to expand its activities to new and promising markets, particularly on the African continent.

For his part, Mr. Samir Abdelhafidh expressed satisfaction with the choice of Tunisia and highlighted the alignment of BA Glass' strategic objectives with national priorities, particularly in terms of:
