The Press — Every Time He Speaks, There's Often an Air of Controversy, a Hint of Tension Behind the Messages Conveyed

Ali Abdi has been making nervous statements to the media, the public, and anyone who listens to him for years. It seems like he doesn't do it on purpose, or at least, he gets carried away without realizing it. This is not new. Since his time in the Tunisian championship, where he was an unremarkable player with many failed experiences, Abdi has always had a tendency to make aggressive statements.

However, he has made an extraordinary leap in his career. No one thought he would become the player he is today. He worked hard, gained muscle and endurance, and his accelerations, goals, and consistency changed his career and life. Nevertheless, his newfound status has not been accompanied by an improvement in his communication skills.

He remains a tough player when he has a microphone in front of him, critical at every opportunity. His latest outburst was an unjustified attack on the national team's fans, who, understandably, did not show up in large numbers on a Friday afternoon. He could have drawn attention in another way, but instead, he attacked the fans and even humiliated them by talking about "giving away gifts at the next match to encourage people to come." This approach was completely misguided and even impolite and hurtful.

People do not need gifts to attend matches; they are proud and dignified and should not be lured in such a way. Hopefully, Ali Abdi did not mean to convey a pejorative sense (we hope so!), but once again, he got carried away without thinking about what he was saying.

This also reminds us of his violent and provocative statements towards the media and consultants after the national team's defeats. Sometimes, it's useful for a player of his caliber to remain silent and avoid getting carried away. Ali Abdi is a prime example of a player who needs to work on his communication skills, especially since he plays at a high level in France. A little calmness would do you good, Ali!
