Ministry of Education Sets Capacity for Pilot Colleges for 2026-2027 Academic Year

The Ministry of Education has set the capacity for pilot colleges for the 2026-2027 academic year at 3,850 places, distributed across the various governorates of the Republic.

According to a ministerial decree published in the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic (JOR-T), the pilot college with the highest capacity is the Collège Pilote des Berges du Lac, with 200 available places. It is followed by the pilot colleges of Megrine and Kairouan, which also have a capacity of 200 places.

Other notable pilot colleges include:

  • Collège Pilote de Sousse: 250 places
  • Collège Pilote de Sfax 1: 225 places
  • Collège Pilote de Monastir: 200 places

The ministerial decree also sets the capacity for another series of establishments within a range of 150 to 175 places. This includes the pilot colleges of Khaznadar, El Menzah V, Bizerte, Gafsa, Gabès, and Nabeul.

In contrast, the number of available places in establishments located in the interior and southern regions of the country ranges from 50 to 125 places, covering regions such as Tozeur, Kébili, Tataouine, and Siliana.

This decision is part of the regulation of admission capacities within pilot colleges in preparation for the upcoming school year, in accordance with the criteria and standards adopted by the Ministry of Education.

For reference, the exams for the pilot college entrance competition (the 6th year competition) will take place on June 22, 23, and 24, 2026. The official results proclamation is scheduled for Friday, July 10, 2026.
