National Pilgrimage and Omra Commission Meets to Discuss Hajj 1447H/2026M Preparations
The National Pilgrimage and Omra Commission held a meeting on Wednesday to examine the preparations for the Hajj season 1447H/2026M. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Religious Affairs, Ahmed Bouhali, according to a statement released by the ministry in the evening.
Meeting Overview
During the meeting, which took place at the ministry's headquarters, participants were presented with a report from the Nutrition Institute detailing the food needs of pilgrims during their journey. Another presentation highlighted the technical conditions of services in the Holy Sites, including accommodation in Mecca, Medina, and the sacred sites (Al-Mashaa'er). The schedules for flights to and from Tunisia for Tunisian pilgrims were also discussed.
Minister's Address
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister praised the coordinated efforts of all stakeholders and their role in the success of the previous season. He urged all actors to submit initiatives and proposals to improve and innovate the next season. The Minister emphasized the need to continue working and redouble efforts to ensure that Tunisian pilgrims perform their rituals in the best conditions.

The meeting was attended by the CEO of the National Services and Residences Company, Issam Hammami, as well as representatives from the Presidency of the Republic, the Presidency of the Government, and the Ministries of Religious Affairs, Health, and Transport, and other parties involved in the organization.
