Partial Traffic Diversion on Regional Road 22

As part of the expansion works of the southern entrance to the capital - phase 3, the Ministry of Equipment and Housing announced that a partial traffic diversion will be implemented on Regional Road 22, near the Traumatology and Burns Center of Ben Arous.

Traffic Diversion Details

This measure will be applied on the nights of Wednesday, September 17 and Thursday, September 18, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, in order to continue the demolition works of the old bridge over Regional Road 22, near the center.

Alternative Route

Motorists heading towards Tunis will be able to turn left to take the road leading to Hammamet, which will be exceptionally open in both directions for about 100 meters, before turning right to return to the road towards Tunis.

Safety Precautions

The ministry called on all road users to exercise caution, reduce speed near the construction site, and respect the signage in place.
