Tunisian Raja Jebali Wins Bronze Medal in Shot Put Event

Tunisian athlete Raja Jebali won the bronze medal on Sunday morning in the shot put (F40) event, as part of the World Para Athletics Championships currently underway in New Delhi, the capital of India. Jebali achieved a throw of 8.86m, setting her new personal best. She finished behind Dutch athlete Lara Baars, who won the gold medal with a throw of 9.77m (a new world record), and Uzbek athlete Madina Mukhtorova, who won the silver medal with 8.99m. This is the seventh medal won by Tunisia in these championships (2 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze).
