Tunisian Athletes Shine at Fazza Grand Prix

Tunisian athlete Yassine Gharbi won the gold medal in the 800m wheelchair (T54) event on Thursday, during the third day of the Fazza Grand Prix for para-athletics, held in Dubai, with a time of 1:36.90. Meanwhile, Mohamed Nidhal Khelifi secured the gold medal in the 800m (T53) event with a time of 1:45.14. Thanks to these two performances, Tunisia's medal tally now stands at 9 medals (5 gold and 4 silver). The other three gold medals were won by:

  • Raoua Tlili in the shot put (F40) event
  • Yassine Gharbi in the 400m wheelchair (T54) event
  • Yassine Guennichi in the shot put (F36) event The four silver medals were won by:
  • Walid Ktila in the 100m wheelchair (T34) event
  • Mohamed Nidhal Khelifi in the 400m wheelchair (T53) event
