Tunisia will be represented by 10 para‑athletes at the International Meeting in Rabat, which counts toward the Grand Prix of Para‑Athletics and will take place from 22 to 26 April. Development & Support Initiatives
In coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Tunisian National Paralympic Committee, the steering committee will:
- Strengthen training and development programs for referees and coaches, addressing the shortage of technical staff caused by recent departures to Gulf countries.
- Promote sports participation for people with disabilities and broaden their practice opportunities.
- Improve elite athletes’ working conditions, highlighted by the recent rehabilitation of the El Menzah weight‑lifting hall—a project championed by the National Paralympic Committee.
Governance Commitment
The committee also reaffirmed its dedication to organising an elective General Assembly within the legally prescribed timeframe, underscoring its commitment to transparent and democratic governance.
