Local Sources Report Palestinian Journalist Killed in Gaza
According to local sources cited by Al Jazeera, Palestinian journalist Salah Jaâfaraoui was shot and killed on Sunday afternoon in Gaza by an armed militia. Known for his coverage of events in the Gaza Strip since the start of the conflict, Salah Jaâfaraoui shared testimonies and images of the violence suffered by the population on social media. A source within the Ministry of Interior told Al Jazeera that several displaced people also lost their lives, killed by armed militias affiliated with the occupation, as they attempted to return to the city of Gaza from the southern part of the territory.
