Scheduled to take place from Friday, September 26 to Thursday, October 2, 2025, the event will kick off with a special program throughout the day on Friday, entirely dedicated to the multidisciplinary artist Fadhel Jaziri, featuring a selection of his works. Six plays by Nizar Saidi, Imed Jomaa, Youssef Mars, Karim Achour, Noomène Hamda, Wajdi Gaidi, and Houssem Sahli will also be performed throughout the week of the event.
Fadhel Jaziri's Work at the Heart of Tributes
In a posthumous tribute to Jaziri, the Opera Theater's Hall will host, at 9 pm, a ceremony open to artists who wish to present their testimonies. The multidisciplinary artist being commemorated successfully redesigned the contours of artistic creation in the country over five decades, navigating easily between theater, cinema, and performing arts, driven by a great passion and a willingness to explore new horizons. In partnership with the Delegation of Cultural Affairs in Tunis, an exhibition composed of photos and posters of Jaziri's main theatrical, cinematic, and artistic works will also be organized at the same location. The vernissage is scheduled for 10 am.
Film Projections and Performances
Earlier, the Tahar Cheriaa room will host, from 3 pm, the screening of the films "Khoussouf" and "El Guirra". At the Regional Theater, there will be a screening, from 7:30 pm, of a documentary short film titled "Fadhel Jaziri: Work in progress", followed by the play "Au Violon", Jaziri's last creation, a theater-dance piece.
