The Tunisian Ministry of Education has recently announced the opening of applications for teacher transfers due to humanitarian or social reasons, as well as specific conditions, for the 2026-2027 academic year. This measure is specifically aimed at primary school teachers who can justify such cases.

Eligible Teachers Must Register Online

Interested teachers must register online through the dedicated digital platform for ministry personnel at education.tn. Note that online registrations are now open, starting from Monday, May 18, 2026, and will continue until June 12, 2026.

Alternative Registration Options

In case of technical issues or impossibility to register online, candidates can contact the regional education commissions (CRE) for tutelage to regularize their situation. Physical files, including all required supporting documents, must be submitted directly to the competent regional commission's order office. The deadline for submission is June 15, 2026.

Digital Transition

This initiative is part of the digital transformation strategy led by the General Directorate of Information and Electronic Administration. The unified platform 'khadamet.education.tn' now centralizes most professional requests from Tunisian Ministry of Education agents. In addition to teacher transfers due to humanitarian or social reasons, this digital space allows teachers to apply for professional promotions and consult their pay stubs online.
