The Tunis City of Sciences Organizes a Scientific Event to Celebrate World Space Week

The Tunis City of Sciences is organizing a scientific event on Saturday, October 18, to celebrate World Space Week. This scientific event will allow attendees to explore technological innovations in space sciences and will feature scientific presentations to explore the Universe and humanity's journey, as well as a session for observing sunspots and various activities at the Planetarium. The program will include conferences on "Space Mechanics", "Beyond the Stars: Geopolitical, Scientific, and Ethical Challenges of Space Exploration", and "Space in the Service of Daily Life", in addition to a scientific workshop titled "Living in Space". This annual event commemorates the launch of the first artificial satellite, Sputnik, on October 4, 1957, and the signing of the Treaty on the Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space on October 10, 1967. It's worth noting that the celebration of World Space Week, from October 4 to 10, is the largest public space event in the world. Its objective is to pay tribute to the contributions of space sciences and technologies to the improvement of the human condition and to inspire new generations through the organization of exhibitions, conferences, and educational activities in over 90 countries.
