Tunisian Olive Oil Exports See Volume Increase but Value Decrease in 2024-2025 Season
During the first 10 months of the 2024-2025 olive oil season, Tunisian exports of olive oil have increased in volume but experienced a decline in value. According to data from the National Observatory of Agriculture, the volume of exports reached nearly 252,700 tons, with 85.3% being bulk exports. However, the value of these exports decreased, generating only around 3.3 billion dinars, which represents a drop of approximately 29.5% compared to the same period in the previous season. This decline in value can be attributed to the decrease in the average export price of olive oil, which fell by 50.1% in August 2025 compared to the previous year.
