Iranian State TV Announces Oil Tanker Sinking After Attack in the Strait of Hormuz
The official Iranian television network reported on Sunday that an oil tanker had been attacked and subsequently sank in the Strait of Hormuz.
The channel posted on Telegram a series of images showing a tanker engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke columns rising from the bridge. The accompanying caption read:
“The violating tanker, which attempted to cross the Strait of Hormuz illegally, was targeted, attacked, and is now sinking.”
