Oil Prices Remain Steady at Close Today
Oil prices remained stable at today's close, as investors assessed the increase in OPEC+ production for November. This increase proved to be lower than expected, amidst forecasts of a supply surplus.
- Brent crude oil futures contracts fell by two cents, or 0.03%, to settle at $65.45 per barrel at close.
- Similarly, US light crude West Texas Intermediate (WTI) dropped by four cents, or 0.06%, to reach $61.73 per barrel.
