A Tunisian national was injured in a shooting that occurred on Monday, May 11, 2026, in the city of Nice, southern France, according to Chokri Dahesh, director of Radio Euro Maghreb in Marseille.

The attack, which took place in the Moulins neighborhood, resulted in two fatalities (a 57-year-old Moroccan and a 20-year-old African national) and several injuries.

Speaking on Jawhara FM, Chokri Dahesh clarified that the young Tunisian was hit by two bullets in the legs. According to information gathered from the victim's father, his health condition is stable, and his life is not in danger.

According to initial reports, the young man was in a café at the time of the incident when an individual on an electric scooter opened fire on several people present at the scene.

The shooter allegedly fled the scene on a vehicle that was waiting nearby, according to the same source.

French authorities are conducting investigations to determine the exact circumstances of the attack and identify the perpetrator(s).
