The National Intercity Transport Company (SNTRI) will launch new direct night routes between Tunis and Djerba via the highway, beginning Monday, March 2 2026.
- Route: Tunis – Djerba Midoun, passing through Gabès, Medenine, and El May.
- Departure from Tunis: 22:00, leaving from Bab Alioua station.
- Return from Djerba (Midoun): 22:00, heading back to Tunis.
SNTRI emphasizes that this service is designed to facilitate travel between the capital and the island of Djerba, offering a faster and more comfortable alternative thanks to the highway connection.
