Enchanted Interlude: A Journey into the World of Puppetry

At the City of Culture, students from private and public schools embark on a magical journey into the universe of puppet theater. A moment suspended between dream, creation, and discovery.

As every year, the National Center for Puppet Arts (Cnam) transforms its backstage into a playground for curious young minds. As part of the "Schools and Puppets" program, children, with their backpacks barely put down, dive into a world where strings come alive, puppets take on a life of their own, and magic happens.

On the menu for this enchanted interlude:

  • A visit to the famous House of Puppets
  • Discovery of the manufacturing workshops
  • Introduction to the world of live performance
  • And, of course... a breathtaking puppet show, specially designed for their young audience.

But more than just entertainment, this initiative aims to awaken the artistic fiber of the children, to introduce them to the behind-the-scenes of a delicate art, and to sow, perhaps, a few vocations. For here, each puppet has a story, each string has a secret, and each child has a gaze that lights up.

Upon leaving, laughter erupts, questions pour in, and dreams grow. Mission accomplished.
