National Center for Puppet Arts (Cnam) Opens its Workshop Doors for an Artistic Adventure
The National Center for Puppet Arts (Cnam) is launching a new season that promises to be vibrant and creative. From October 2025 to June 2026, the center will offer training workshops designed for both children and adults, inviting the public to discover the fascinating world of puppetry, where tradition meets innovation.
A Journey into the World of Puppetry
For two hours a week, participants will delve into the magic of strings and silhouettes, taming materials, and bringing wooden, fabric, or paper characters to life. These workshops are designed for the curious, passionate, and dreamers who want to experience an art form that is both ancestral and constantly evolving. Children will find a creative playground, while adults will be able to reconnect with their imagination and artisanal gestures.
Call for Puppeteers
In parallel, the Cnam is launching a call for puppeteers who wish to lead these weekly meetings. Candidates must submit a dossier including a university diploma, a detailed CV, a copy of their national identity card, and a pedagogical program covering the entire season. Applications must be submitted before September 30, 2025.
A Season of Puppetry Ahead
A season of puppetry is being prepared, with its share of stories to invent, gestures to share, and shadows to animate. At the Cnam, the stage belongs to the hands and voices of those who dare to dream. The center's workshop doors are open, inviting everyone to join an artistic adventure that will unfold from October 2025 to June 2026.
