Tunisian Delegation to Participate in the 11th Edition of the UN Alliance of Civilizations International Forum

At the instruction of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, and upon the joint invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Nations Under-Secretary-General, High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations, and Special Envoy of the United Nations for the fight against Islamophobia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, will lead the Tunisian delegation participating in the 11th edition of the UN Alliance of Civilizations International Forum, scheduled to take place in Riyadh on December 14 and 15, 2025, under the theme: "Alliance of Civilizations: Two Decades of Dialogue for Humanity - Bringing About a New Era of Respect and Mutual Understanding in a Multipolar World".

Objective of the Forum

This forum constitutes a high-level international stage for examining the role of the Alliance in supporting international peace and security, evaluating two decades of intercultural and inter-civilizational dialogue, and exploring the most effective means to address the rise of hate speech and intolerance, while promoting the values of mutual understanding and respect.

Global Challenges and Cooperation

The forum also provides a platform for exchanging views on current global challenges in a rapidly changing world, as well as on constructive efforts to strengthen prospects for coexistence, human solidarity, conflict prevention, and the consolidation of a culture of peace.

Continuity of International Efforts

This participation is a continuation of the international colloquium held in Tunisia on November 17, 2025, on "The Role of the UN Alliance of Civilizations in Supporting International Peace and Security", which was an important preparatory step for the forum's work and contributed to forging a common vision on ways to consolidate the civilizing role of the mechanism in the current international context.
