Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, participated in the emergency meeting of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level, held remotely today, Sunday 8 March 2026.
The Minister emphasized that, given the delicate situation our Arab nation is undergoing in light of the military escalation in the region and the serious threats it poses to regional and international security and peace, Tunisia reiterates its call for the necessity of respecting the sovereignty of states and the integrity of their territories.
Tunisia also condemns any aggression directed at brother Arab states or that infringes upon their territorial integrity, and reaffirms its categorical rejection of any attack on the territories and resources of brother Arab states.
In this context, the Minister stressed Tunisia’s total solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman, the United Arab Emirates, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Iraq.
