Dismantling of a Major Drug Trafficking Network
The units of the El Gorjani Judicial Police Department, under the General Directorate of National Security, have successfully dismantled a significant drug trafficking network operating across several governorates.
Operation Details
Following a large-scale operation conducted on November 26, 2025, the Nabeul Regional Brigade for Combating Narcotics, in coordination with the prosecution, carried out a series of arrests and a major seizure of narcotics.
Arrests and Seizures
Three traffickers were arrested while transporting drugs between Nabeul, Sousse, and Kairouan using public transportation. One of them, who was actively being sought, was the subject of nine arrest warrants and had already been sentenced to three years in prison.
In the Aïn Kmicha region (Nabeul), agents also arrested three other dealers, while three additional accomplices were identified and are now being actively pursued.
Seized Items
In total, the security forces seized:
- 213 ecstasy pills
- A quantity of cannabis
- A sum of money derived from trafficking

This operation is part of the national strategy to dismantle narcotics trafficking networks and strengthen security in various regions of the country.
