Nabeul Municipality Continues Crackdown on Unregulated Trade

The municipality of Nabeul is pursuing its campaigns against unregulated trade, particularly around the daily market and Martyrs' Square, as part of a comprehensive program to reorganize public spaces.

In a statement to Diwan FM, the municipality's secretary general, Moez Belrakcha, affirmed that these operations are part of an ongoing effort to preserve public order and ensure better organization of common spaces.

Expanded Plan for Cleanliness and Urban Organization

The municipal official specified that the action plan also includes intensifying cleanliness campaigns to cover all neighborhoods within the municipal perimeter. A specific plan for the maintenance and development of cemeteries has also been developed. Furthermore, the municipality intends to strengthen waste collection by installing additional containers in areas requiring urgent intervention, with the goal of improving hygiene conditions and addressing residents' concerns.

In anticipation of the month of Ramadan, points of sale will be set up to allow producers to sell directly to consumers. This initiative aims to regulate commercial activity, limit intermediaries, and guarantee affordable prices for citizens.

Through these measures, the municipality aims to establish a balance between urban organization, commercial activity, and protection of purchasing power.
