Meeting Between Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs and New US Ambassador

Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, received Mr. Bill Bazzi today, who presented him with a copy of his Letters of Credence, accrediting him as the new Ambassador of the United States of America to Tunisia.
The meeting was an opportunity to reaffirm the solidity of the historical ties between the two countries, as well as the common will to consolidate and diversify bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of:
- Security
- Economy
- Trade
- Academia
- Science and technology
- Tourism
- Transportation
This cooperation aims to benefit both the Tunisian and American peoples.
For his part, the American Ambassador expressed his pride in serving in Tunisia and hailed the depth and solidity of Tunisian-American relations. He reiterated his country's willingness to:
- Diversify and expand economic and commercial cooperation
- Increase partnership opportunities
- Contribute to strengthening promising prospects for economic actors in the public and private sectors of both countries.
