Tunisian Embassy in Doha Urges Extreme Caution for Residents Amid Rapidly Worsening Security Situation
The Tunisian Embassy in Doha issued a warning on Saturday urging all Tunisians living in Qatar to exercise the utmost caution due to the fast‑evolving security situation in the region.
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the embassy asked the Tunisian community to strictly follow every directive issued by the competent Qatari authorities.
The embassy also provided a WhatsApp hotline (+974 3320 0525) for any emergency related to these events.
Earlier that day, the Qatari government strongly condemned Iranian ballistic missile launches targeting its territory, describing them as a flagrant violation of Qatar’s national sovereignty and a direct threat to its security and territorial integrity.
According to the Qatari news agency QNA, Doha reiterated its calls for dialogue with the Islamic Republic of Iran and for a peaceful resolution of conflicts to prevent any risk of escalation in the region.
The Tunisian Embassy emphasized the need for its community to stay vigilant and continuously adhere to local authorities’ instructions to ensure their safety.
