Security Units Dismantle Monopoly and Speculation Networks Across the Country
Security units successfully dismantled networks of monopoly and speculation throughout the country on Sunday. According to a security source, the units conducted a series of simultaneous operations in several governorates, targeting warehouses and slaughterhouses operating outside of legal frameworks. These interventions resulted in the seizure of large quantities of goods and food products, which were being stored illegally for speculative purposes. Several reports were filed, and a number of offenders were arrested and referred to justice. The seized products were injected into official distribution channels and wholesale markets to ensure their availability to citizens at reasonable prices, added the same source.
