Meeting of the Steering Committee for the Development of the Executive Plan for Preparation and Qualification for Married Life
A meeting of the steering committee responsible for developing the executive plan for preparation and qualification for married life was held on Monday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Family, Women, Children, and Seniors. The meeting was dedicated to presenting the project and examining its main orientations, strategic axes, and operational objectives.
Anchoring Family Values in Young People
The participants studied the mechanisms for expanding the targeted categories and strengthening the program's impact on young people. The goal is to consolidate family values and promote a marital culture based on responsibility and mutual respect. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of awareness campaigns based on attractive and incentive messages that can effectively reach future spouses.
Main Objectives of the Plan
According to a statement from the ministry, the executive plan aims to:
- Strengthen the knowledge of future spouses about the role of the family and its fundamental values
- Develop the necessary skills for managing the household and its resources
- Prepare future parents for child education and building a sustainable common life project The program also aims to establish a culture of healthy communication within the couple, promote physical and mental health, and support future spouses in facing the financial costs associated with marriage.
Preventive and Participatory Approach
The plan is based on several complementary pillars, including awareness, training, supervision, and support. It primarily targets young people of marriageable age and young families. Outlined in December 2025 on the occasion of the National Family Day, this project is part of a participatory approach that takes into account current demographic and social changes. Its stated objective is to prevent family disintegration and limit its social and economic repercussions.
