Meeting Between Tunisian Minister and Chinese Ambassador

On the instruction of the President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, the Minister of Equipment and Housing, Salah Zouari, received the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Tunisia, Wan Li, on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
According to a statement from the ministry, the meeting focused on the rehabilitation of production units of the Essalem beach chemical group in Gabès and on ways to treat emissions and gas leaks, in order to eliminate their causes and put an end to environmental pollution in the region.
