Meeting to Evaluate Online Services Portal Efficiency
A working meeting was dedicated to assessing the efficiency and profitability of the online services portal, which includes 16 special administrative services related to construction work authorization, tender conditions for construction and public works contracts, and other services. This digitization is part of the process of simplifying public administrative procedures.
Follow-up on Digitization of Administrative Procedures
As part of the follow-up and evaluation of the digitization of administrative procedures and the state of online services at the Ministry of Equipment and Housing, a working session was held on Wednesday, under the chairmanship of Minister Salah Zouari.
According to a statement from the ministry, this meeting was devoted to evaluating the efficiency and profitability of the online services portal, which includes 16 special administrative services. These services are related to:
- Authorization of construction work
- Tender conditions for construction and public works contracts
- Other related services
Evaluation of Administrative Service Efficiency
During the meeting, an evaluation was made of the efficiency of the administrative service dedicated to obtaining construction and public works permits. This service aims to simplify procedures for stakeholders dealing with the department, saving them additional trips to the department's headquarters to provide required documents.
This will also enable control over the human, material, and financial resources of companies with the required authorizations, the ministry notes.
Recommendations for Service Development
The minister recommended further developing this service, which has been online for about a year, to avoid any gaps and facilitate services to citizens. Zouari emphasized the need to conduct information and awareness campaigns to encourage professionals to adopt this service, which is part of the national strategy for digitizing administrative services. This will ensure greater transparency and efficiency in the implementation of public projects.
Review of Progress and Identification of Challenges
During the meeting, a review was made of the progress achieved in this digitization perspective, identifying pending issues and methods to address them. This will be done in coordination with various stakeholders to operationalize these services as soon as possible.
