Ministry of National Defense Announces Mandatory Registration for National Service

The Ministry of National Defense announced on Monday, February 16, 2026, that all young individuals born between 2000 and the first three months of 2006, who have not yet regularized their situation regarding the national service law, must present themselves at recruitment centers for the first session of 2026.

Registration Session Details

This session will take place from Monday, March 2, to Friday, April 10, 2026, in all delegations of the Republic, according to a predefined schedule. Special recruitment and mobilization commissions will be set up to receive candidates.

Requirements for Registration

The ministry specifies that the concerned young individuals must present themselves with their national identity card at the recruitment and mobilization centers located in Tunis, Sousse, Béja, Gabès, and Kasserine.
