Ariana Municipality Unveils Multidisciplinary Complex in El Menzah VI

The municipality of Ariana has recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary complex in El Menzah VI, marking a significant milestone in the development of the local cultural infrastructure. This ambitious project, valued at 2.5 million dinars, aims to breathe new life into the existing cultural scene, addressing the growing pressure on existing spaces.

The event, which took place on Tuesday, is a crucial step forward for the youth and children of the commune. By strengthening its proximity structures, the municipality of Ariana is not only building walls, but also providing a concrete solution to the saturation of the current cultural center, which has exceeded its nominal capacity.

This project, with a total cost exceeding 2.5 million dinars, has undergone an evolutionary trajectory before taking its final form. Initially designed as a simple complex for children by the municipal council, the project underwent significant technical adjustments. As explained by Leila Ayachi, vice-president of the cultural association of the municipality of Ariana, discussions with the Women's Delegation revealed specific constraints related to restoration norms. In collaboration with the governorate, the decision was made to transform the space into an integrated cultural and recreational complex, combining the needs of children and youth.

The spatial organization of the building reflects this desire for versatility. On the ground floor, the complex welcomes dance clubs, robotics, and theater clubs, complemented by a reception area, a first aid room, and a Koranic reading club. The first floor is the creative heart of the building, featuring painting, science, computer science, sculpture workshops, and a large multipurpose room. Finally, the second floor houses intellectual and administrative functions, including a library, archives, and management offices.

Currently under the direct management of the municipality of Ariana, the establishment is finalizing its operational modalities. A close coordination work is being carried out with the Culture and Youth Delegations to ensure the presence of specialized personnel and to perfect the equipment of the premises. The imminent opening to the public promises to transform this place into a true social lung for residents of El Menzah VI.
