Minister of Finance Inaugurates New Inspection Unit for Yachts at El Kantaoui Port

The Minister of Finance, Mechkat Salama El Khaldi, inaugurated the new headquarters of the yacht inspection unit under the border office of El Kantaoui port in Sousse on Friday, November 21, 2025.

According to Chokri Jebri, spokesperson for the General Directorate of Customs, this new structure aims to bring services and procedures closer to investors and support the development of pleasure tourism.

He also announced the inauguration, on the same day, of the new headquarters of the regional customs directorate, the single window, and the maritime unit cell of the Tunisian customs in Monastir.
