In a precision operation dubbed "qualitative," the Central Brigade for Combating Narcotics of the National Guard in El Aouina, in coordination with the Maritime Research Brigade of Monastir, dealt a significant blow to an international crime network. The operation, which took place on May 8, 2026, in the town of Téboulba, Monastir Governorate, targeted a network specializing in importing psychoactive substances from a European country.
Twelve Immediate Arrests and Seven Suspects at Large

Investigations Reveal Polyvalent and Dangerous Network
According to a security source, the investigations revealed that the suspects were involved in various forms of transnational crime, including organizing clandestine maritime emigration operations to European coastlines and the illicit trade of archaeological goods.
