Gafsa Hospital Receives 32 Patients After Mass Food Poisoning Incident

The Hussein Bouzaiane University Hospital in Gafsa welcomed 32 people on Sunday evening who were victims of a mass food poisoning incident. Of these, 12 patients were kept under medical observation for further examinations.
According to hospital director Ridha Mohamedi, the patients' health condition is generally stable.
In response to the situation, the Gafsa prosecutor's office has ordered an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the incident and identify the causes of the mass food poisoning.
Preliminary information suggests that all affected individuals consumed refreshments purchased from a store located in the city center of Gafsa. This lead is currently being prioritized by the relevant authorities, pending the results of the investigations and necessary analyses.
