Specialized Criminal Chamber Concludes Hearings in Marouane Mabrouk Corruption Case
The criminal chamber dedicated to financial‑corruption cases of the Tunis Court of First Instance finished this evening—after a hearing lasting more than six hours—by reviewing the lawyers’ pleadings in the file of businessman Marouane Mabrouk and former ministers concerning the unfreezing of Mabrouk’s assets held by the European Union.
At the close of the hearing, the chamber decided to adjourn the case for deliberation before delivering its judgment.
