Tunisian Maroua Brahmi Wins Silver Medal in Para-Athletics World Championships
Tunisian athlete Maroua Brahmi won the silver medal in the shot put (F32 category) event at the Para-Athletics World Championships held in New Delhi, India on Tuesday. Brahmi achieved a throw of 29.19m, finishing second in the final of the event, behind Polish athlete Roza Kozakowska, who was crowned champion with a throw of 29.30m, and ahead of Brazilian athlete Giovanna Castelho, who won the bronze medal with a throw of 27.09m. This is the third Tunisian medal at these World Championships, following the gold medal won by Yassine Gharbi earlier in the morning in the 400m (T54 category) event, and the bronze medal won by Raoua Tlili in the shot put (F41 category) event on Saturday.
