National Professional Football League Commission Renders Decisions on Recent Matches
The National Professional Football League commission has made its decisions regarding recent championship matches. Maher Kanzari, the coach of Espérance Sportive de Tunis, has been heavily sanctioned for his behavior during the match against Stade Tunisien on September 13. He has been banned from sitting on the bench for 4 matches and fined 7,000 dinars.
Other Sanctions and Decisions by the League
The commission has also taken other disciplinary measures:
- Tarek Jarraya, the coach of Avenir Sportif de Gabès, has been suspended for 2 matches and fined 5,000 dinars for his repeated protests against the referee after the match against Espérance Sportive de Zarzis.
- Espérance Sportive de Tunis has also been sanctioned with a warning and a fine of 7,500 dinars for the second recurrence of using and throwing flares on the field by its supporters during the match against Étoile Sportive de Métlaoui.
- Several clubs, including Union Sportive de Ben Guerdane, Club Africain, Olympique de Béja, and Espérance Sportive de Zarzis, have been fined 5,000 dinars each for the throwing of projectiles by their supporters.
Other Developments
Additionally, the claim by Club Sportif Sfaxien regarding the participation of Espérance de Zarzis player Jassim Ben Kilani has been accepted in form but rejected in substance. The result of the match (2-1 in favor of Espérance de Zarzis) has been confirmed.
