Walid Ben Mohamed Elected President of the National Professional Football League

Walid Ben Mohamed has been elected president of the National Professional Football League, following the elective general assembly held this morning. This session was a follow-up to a previous meeting that was postponed and took place under the supervision of the independent electoral commission of the Tunisian Football Federation, chaired by Me Hammadi Jaza.

Participation and Voting Process

The electoral process saw the participation of 32 clubs out of the 44 affiliated with the League. Three lists were in the running for the presidency: those of Akil Ben Hassine and Hassen Ziane, as well as the list led by Walid Ben Mohamed.

A Landslide Victory

After the vote count, the official results were announced by Me Hammadi Jaza. The list of Walid Ben Mohamed won by a large margin, receiving 30 votes, while the list of Akil Ben Hassine received only 2 votes, and the list of Hassen Ziane received no votes.

New Leadership

With this strong support, Walid Ben Mohamed officially takes the reins of the National Professional Football League for the next term.
