Young Tunisian Pilot Linda Hannini Makes History

11-year-old Linda Hannini has made history by becoming the first Tunisian and the only Arab representative to join the international FIA Girls on Track – Rising Stars Junior Line-Up 2025 program, dedicated to discovering and developing young female talents in motorsport.

For its fifth edition, the program attracted over 82 candidates from the five FIA regions. Nine pilots aged 11 to 14 were selected for the final evaluation camp, where they underwent a series of demanding tests focusing on track performance, technical understanding, physical preparation, and personal development. Linda Hannini, representing Tunisia and licensed by the National Automobile Club of Tunisia, was part of this elite group.

Early Beginnings and Career

The young pilot began karting at the age of eight and started her competitive career in early 2025 with the French Karting School, registered with the ASK Villars in France. She already has a promising record: two regional race wins, a female win in a national race in the EFK category at the Pierre Gasly Trophy and the FFSA Academy, as well as a 3rd place in the Micro Max category at the FIA MENA Nations Cup 2025 in Qatar.

Intensive Training and Recognition

Linda Hannini underwent intensive theoretical and practical training in Italy under the supervision of FIA experts, before being honored by the President of the International Automobile Federation, Dr. Mohamed Ben Saleem. This success highlights the growing presence of Tunisian motorsport on the international scene and inspires future generations of young pilots.
