The LNFP, meeting on Tuesday, has handed down a series of disciplinary sanctions targeting six clubs, one official, and two players.
The sanctions range from warnings and suspensions to financial fines, with amounts varying between 2,500 and 10,000 dinars:
- JS Kairouan: Received a warning and a fine of 2,500 dinars for repeated incidents of projectile throwing during their match against US Monastir on May 8, 2026.
- Stade Tunisien: Fined 5,000 dinars for repeated incidents of projectile throwing during their match against US Ben Guerdane on May 8, 2026.
- Olympique de Béja: Received a warning and a fine of 5,000 dinars for repeated incidents of projectile throwing during their match against JS Omrane on May 8, 2026.
- Seif Ben Salem, Stade Tunisien's Administrative Director: Suspended for two matches and fined 5,000 dinars for insulting the referee during their match against US Ben Guerdane.
- Etoile du Sahel: Fined 10,000 dinars for a third consecutive incident of throwing bottles onto the pitch during their match against CA Bizertin on May 9, 2026.
- AS Marsa: Received a warning and a fine of 4,000 dinars for a second consecutive incident of setting off flares without projectiles during their match against CS Sfaxien on May 9, 2026.
- Espérance de Tunis: Received a warning and a fine of 2,500 dinars for a third consecutive incident of projectile throwing during their derby match against Club Africain on May 10.
- Mohamed Amine Tougaï, Espérance de Tunis Player: Summoned to appear before the LNFP's board at their next meeting, with a provisional suspension until his hearing.
- Firas Chaouat, Club Africain Player: Summoned to appear before the LNFP's board at their next meeting, with a provisional suspension until his hearing.
