Human Toll Continues to Rise in South Lebanon

The humanitarian situation in South Lebanon continues to deteriorate, with a recent Israeli airstrike targeting the village of Kfar Dunin, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. According to local media sources, six people have been killed and seven others injured in the attack, which is part of a larger offensive that is further degrading the urban landscape and essential infrastructure in the region.

The aggression is not limited to the immediate border areas. Israeli artillery and aviation have intensified their operations, simultaneously targeting the towns of Zoutar al-Sharqiya, Jabchit, and Srifa. The western Beqaa plain has also been affected, with the village of Sohmor suffering targeted airstrikes.

In parallel with these bombardments, the Israeli army has increased pressure on civilian populations. An urgent warning has been issued, instructing residents of Arzoune, Tyr Debba, Al-Bazourieh, and Al-Housh to evacuate their homes immediately, sparking fears of an imminent extension of ground operations or an intensification of aerial raids in these areas.

On the ground, the strategy of destroying civilian property appears to be escalating. In Deir Siriane, the occupying army has blown up the local water pumping station, a critical infrastructure that supplied the entire village. Meanwhile, engineering units have carried out the demolition and destruction of several homes in the city of Bint Jbeil.

This day of violence follows a particularly grueling night for civilian populations. At least 15 aerial raids were recorded between last night and dawn, methodically targeting eight distinct localities across the entire South Lebanon region.
