Seasonal Flu Vaccination Campaign Kicks Off in Kef Governorate
The seasonal flu vaccination campaign began on Thursday in all basic health centers in the Kef governorate, targeting chronic patients, following the administration of 1,300 doses, according to Mohamed Ben Chaabane, Deputy Director of Primary Health Care at the Kef Regional Health Directorate.
Ben Chaabane stated in a statement to the TAP agency that vaccination operations will be conducted starting today in 91 basic health centers across all delegations in the governorate, calling on targeted categories who wish to benefit from this vaccination to contact the basic health centers they depend on.
He recalled that the Kef Regional Health Directorate has the habit of organizing seasonal vaccination every year with the aim of protecting fragile categories from seasonal flu, which can threaten their health, according to his estimates.
He emphasized that the vaccine is also available in private pharmacies and that anyone wishing to benefit from it can purchase it, specifying that its price is set by the Ministry of Health, according to his statement.
