Launch of the Olympic Press Club: A New Initiative to Promote Olympic Values
As part of the implementation of the 2025-2028 strategic plan, with a vision for 2032, of the Tunisian National Olympic Committee, and in line with its desire to support the role of the media in promoting the noble missions of sports, a coordination meeting was held on Friday, October 3, 2025, with a group of sports journalists and students from the Institute of Press and Information Sciences. The meeting aimed to finalize preparations for the launch of the Olympic Press Club project, scheduled to start on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Project Overview
This project, organized in coordination with the Tunisian Association of Sports Journalists, includes a series of training sessions on the Olympic movement (its genesis, objectives, and governance), which will continue until May 2026. The objective of the project is to disseminate Olympic culture and the values that the Olympic movement seeks to instill in sports circles as well as in society as a whole.
Objective and Expected Outcome
The Tunisian National Olympic Committee (CNOT) welcomed the very positive reaction and commitment shown by the various media and partners towards this initiative in a statement published on this occasion. The CNOT aims to promote Olympic values and culture through this project, which is expected to have a positive impact on the sports community and society at large.
