Clik2Read Launches National Reading Campaign "Tunisia Reads"
The startup Clik2Read has launched a national reading campaign called "Tunisia Reads", aiming to promote continuous reading and encourage Tunisians to integrate books into their daily lives, beyond occasional events.
According to Sami Meksi, founding member of Clik2Read, 80% of the Tunisian population is connected to the internet, providing a unique opportunity to facilitate access to reading through digital media. The books offered by Clik2Read will be sold at reduced prices of 30 to 50% compared to paper versions, making reading more accessible to all.
The campaign plans to hold 20 editions in 2026, which will take place in different regions, universities, educational institutions, and public libraries. The initiative also aims to highlight Tunisian authors, develop readers' critical thinking, and encourage them to exchange and debate around the books.
The official launch of the campaign took place on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Startup Village, marking the beginning of a series of events and workshops designed to energize the country's cultural and literary landscape.
