Stade Tunisien Announces New Head Coach
The Stade Tunisien announced today, Friday, November 28, 2025, the appointment of Lassaad Dridi as the head coach of the first football team, replacing coach Chokri El Khatoui. In a statement published on its official page, the club specifies that Dridi's contract runs until the end of the 2025-2026 season. Lassaad Dridi is thus returning to a club he knows well, after having served there on two previous occasions, in 2014 and 2016. Since then, he has managed several teams in Tunisia and abroad, including Stade Gabésien, CA Bizertin, US Monastir, Club Africain, Étoile du Sahel, as well as Olympique Khouribga (Morocco) and Al-Ahly Benghazi (Libya). Stade Tunisien is having a solid season and currently occupies third place in the Professional League 1 with 30 points, just one point behind the two leaders, Espérance Sportive de Tunis and Club Africain. Dridi's arrival comes as the club aims to stay in touch with the top of the standings.
