Tunis Court Sentences Informal Shelter Guard to Prison
The criminal chamber of the Tunis Court of First Instance sentenced, on December 10, 2025, a guard of an informal shelter to eight months in prison for assaulting a woman during a dispute over parking her car in the La Goulette region. The assault resulted in bruises on the victim. The defendant acknowledged the facts for which he was accused. According to a judicial source, he also has a history of violence and drug trafficking.
