Tunisian Duo Wins Gold in Kayak and Canoe Championships

The Tunisian pair, Sabiha Ben Othmane and Hiha Ben Boubaker, won the gold medal in the K2 500m women's (U23) event on Sunday morning, at the 3rd day of the African Kayak and Canoe Championships (Seniors, U23, and Juniors) held in Luanda, with a time of 02:17.31.

Meanwhile, the Tunisian duo, Mohamed Ben Hmida and Elyès Trabelsi, secured the gold medal in the C2 500m boys' (juniors) event, completing the distance in 02:21.52.

Additionally, Faourk Dali and Koussay Allagui won the silver medal in the K2 500m men's seniors event with a time of 01:58.23, while Mohamed Naffati settled for the bronze medal in the K1 200m juniors event (41.09). Similarly, Sabiha Ben Othmane won the bronze medal in the women's K1 200m event (43.88).

It's worth noting that during the first two days of the championships, Tunisia collected three gold medals, two silver medals, and two bronze medals.
