Kasserine Prosecutor's Office Takes Action Against Alleged Fraud
The Public Prosecutor's office near the Court of First Instance in Kasserine authorized, last Tuesday, the judicial research team of the National Guard in the region to place an entrepreneur in custody, suspected of forgery and use of false documents. Additionally, a government official was referred to the court in the same case.
These measures follow a complaint filed by the Governor of Kasserine, Zied Trabelsi, after irregularities were discovered in a bank guarantee document that was part of a file under examination, as confirmed by Imad Omri, First Assistant to the Prosecutor and official spokesperson for the Court of First Instance in Kasserine, in a statement to the media.
It is worth noting that the investigating judge of the Court of First Instance in Kasserine had issued, last Friday, two prison warrants against two officials from the blood bank of the Kasserine Regional Hospital, as part of alleged financial corruption cases.
